From Genesis
to Holy.
The expanding world of Choose Life
Kaya Jones and HouseNatic are building a world around renewal, movement, memory and connection, with a message bigger than any one genre.
The Awards Issue · 2026

Some albums arrive as a stack of songs. Others show up with their own language, their own weather and their own way of looking at the world.
Choose Life, the collaboration between Kaya Jones and HouseNatic, is the second kind.
Read the titles in a row (“Genesis,” “HISTORY,” “EXODUS,” “Holy”) and you can already hear the journey: a beginning, a memory, a departure, a moment of grace. Choose Life is the frame that holds them together.
At the center sits one simple philosophy: Love Everyone Unconditionally. It isn’t a slogan stuck onto a release. It runs through the creative direction itself, as an invitation to connect, to be kind and to choose whatever moves life forward.
This season, Choose Life and several of its recordings are submitted For Your GRAMMY® Consideration across multiple categories. But the categories only tell part of the story.
“Love Everyone Unconditionally” isn’t a tagline here. It’s the creative direction.
“Genesis” is the front door to the Choose Life universe, and it is a good place to start.
Its visual world is built around beginning again: awakening, evolving, forgiving, and that moment when something unfamiliar suddenly feels possible.
The imagery travels from a cold, controlled environment into a living garden. At first they look like two separate worlds. Slowly they turn out to be the same story. Technology stands beside nature. Structure gives way to movement. Darkness gets interrupted by light.
And through all of it, the point stays the same: people choosing to move forward together.

“HISTORY”
Looking back without staying there
For Your GRAMMY® Consideration
Best Dance Pop Recording
If “Genesis” is about beginnings, “HISTORY” is about everything that already happened.
Placed inside Choose Life, the title starts a conversation between past and future. History can define us, teach us or follow us around. It doesn’t have to become the place we live.
The record doesn’t try to erase earlier chapters. It makes room for something better: honoring where we’ve been, then deliberately deciding where we go next.

“EXODUS”
Movement beyond the familiar
For Your GRAMMY® Consideration
Best Global Music Performance
Some of the biggest ideas in Choose Life are expressed through motion, and “EXODUS” is motion by name.
It is the sound of leaving: a place, a feeling, an old way of thinking, on the way to somewhere new. Next to “Genesis” and “HISTORY,” it adds another word to the album’s vocabulary of change.
That movement mirrors the collaboration itself. Kaya’s voice, HouseNatic’s production, dance music and visual storytelling all meet in a project built to cross borders, not stay inside them.

“Holy”
Finding the sacred in the human

Then comes “Holy.”
In a project full of beginnings, journeys and transformation, “Holy” brings the conversation closer to the heart. What do we decide is valuable? What deserves protecting? What becomes sacred when everything unnecessary is stripped away?
Those questions let “Holy” sit right beside the dance-floor side of Choose Life, without asking the album to be only one thing. It can celebrate and reflect. It can move your body and still say something underneath.

Best Dance/Electronic Album · Choose Life
The album is where all those chapters finally meet. Together, the titles form a surprising vocabulary: origin, memory, departure, transcendence. Above all of them sits the decision in the album’s name.
That idea shaped more than the music. The visual language of this era grew into gardens, flowers, light, femininity, surreal natural landscapes and cinematic images built around transformation, not destruction.
The goal was never just a set of promo photos. It was a world you can recognize, where the music, the visuals and the message keep growing together.
For Kaya, Love Everyone Unconditionally is the thread connecting the pieces. For HouseNatic, the collaboration is the sonic architecture that lets the world move. Choose Life is where the two meet.
The story continues
A consideration campaign can easily turn into a list of categories. Choose Life has a bigger story to tell.
Each recording lives in its own musical space. Together they point to one idea that has held steady through this whole chapter: we are not limited by where we started, by what happened before, or by what anyone expects the next chapter to look like.
There is always
another choice.
Another beginning. Another way forward.
Lve Everyone Unconditionally.
